Does your horse need a tidy up?

I offer a full range of clipping and trimming for horses and ponies

With over 20 years experience, all my equipment is clean & disinfected,my clippers are regularly serviced and my blades are kept sharp. All I need is a power socket within 30m of the clipping area and I will provide the rest.

Why Clip your horse?

Usually carried out between September and February clipping can be done throughout the year eg. for showing, health reasons, etc

First Clip??

I have many years experience dealing with first clips and nervous horses. It can be quite a shock for a horse the first time it is clipped and every horse will react differently. The clippers are noisy, they vibrate and there is a stranger in the stable. I alway work calmly & patiently at a pace acceptable to the horse which helps reassure them that there is nothing to fear.

Bad Experience??

If your horse/pony has had bad experiences and doesn't enjoy being clipped please inform me at the booking stage. Keep him/her in familiar surroundings and I will work at a pace that is acceptable to the horse; you might be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately many horses have had such bad experiences of clipping that they need sedation to keep them and us safe during the process. In these cases I can make a provisional booking until you arrange your vet and call me back to confirm the time.
