Booking Conditions...

• Prior to your first booking I will arrange a visit with you and your animals, usually at feeding time, to ensure that you and your animals are comfortable with me and that I fully understand your animal's needs, personality and routine. After this you are welcome to make a booking by phone, text or email.
• If you are happy with me I will complete my forms detailing exactly what you require. I will also need emergency phone numbers for your veterinary surgeon and for horses your farrier and any other phone numbers for you while you are away.
• You will need to provide me with keys, unless you can guarantee access to your property. I ask that keys are provided at your initial visit. Keys will be retained by Company for Pets in a secure location or they will be returned to you at the end of your booking through my free key return service. Please note that keys are kept in a secure location separate from my booking files. 
• Your personal details are recorded for the sole purpose of your pet's care and invoicing and will not under any circumstances be given to a third party.
• All animals must be up to date with required vaccinations. In the interest of other clients' pets, you must inform me immediately if your animals are suffering from an infectious or contagious disease.
• Only dogs from the same household are walked together, up to a maximum of 3, so you can rest assured that your pets are getting one to one attention.
• If you would like to visit me at home please make an appointment to ensure I am available
• Payment is on the day for one off or adhoc services, 20% deposit for holiday cover bookings, balance due on your return. Regular bookings can be paid weekly or monthly. Printed invoice will be provided on request
• If you have to cancel your booking, please contact me by telephone, text or email giving me at least 24 hours notice.

• I will contact you approx 3 days prior to your booking to ensure everything is still ok and there are no other details you need to make me aware off.

While you are away

• Everything will be carried out to your expressed wishes. If you requested my sms service I will give you regular updates and I don't mind in the least if you contact me to see how everyone is getting on.
• Whilst your pet(s) is in my care I reserve the right to take them to your appointed Veterinary Surgeon or the closest surgery depending on the circumstances and act on their advice. In the unlikely event of an emergency you will be contacted as soon as possible. You, the owner, remain responsible for all veterinary charges incurred and at no time will I or Company for Pets be held liable.

When you return home

• I will continue to care for your animals until contact has been made to assure me and your pets that you are back home, ready to continue their care.
• I request that the remaining balance of your account be paid within 7 days of your return date. Please Note - Outstanding balances must be cleared before further bookings will be accepted.
• Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
• All fees are payable at the beginning of each booking period. Payment is on the day for one off or adhoc services, 20% in advance for holiday cover bookings, balance due on your return. Regular bookings can be paid weekly or monthly. A printed invoice will be provided. Interest charged at 5% on all amounts outstanding greater than 30 days.

 

• I am fully insured for all the services Company for Pets & Good Stables offers and I am police checked through Disclosure Scotland. 
• Animals left in my care will receive every care and attention, however they are left entirely at the risk of the owner.
